Elizabeth Jane Bogertman Van Der Have

Elizabeth Jane Bogertman Van Der Have, 85, of 585 Ellis Road, Belhaven, NC, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 in Autumnfield of Belhaven. Mrs. Van Der Have was born in Hawthorne, NJ and was the daughter of the late Abraham and Sadie Kooistra Bogertman. A retired unit clerk with Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, she was a member of Covenant United Reformed Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Samuel Van Der Have; her brother, William J. Bogertman; and by her daughter-in-law, Doris Higby Van Der Have. Surviving are her daughter, Beth Ann Van Der Have Huschens of Newton, NJ; her son, Robert J. Van Der Have and wife Tonya of Belhaven; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Covenant United Reformed Church by the Rev. Calvin Tuininga. Friends may join the family in the church immediately following the service. The burial will be in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Fair Lawn, NJ, and will held later in the week.
