Fay Hughes Randolph

Fay Hughes Randolph, 72, of 135 Fat Man Lane, Hertford, NC, died Friday, July 6, 2012 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Mrs. Randolph was born in Perquimans County and was the daughter of the late George Wallace and Margaret Trueblood Hughes. She was employed as a supervisor with Jimbo's Jumbos in Edenton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ivor Mae Hughes McDonald and Sarah Marie Hughes Hurdle Banks, and three brothers, Jay Hughes, Adren John Hughes and Charlie Lee Hughes. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Ray Allen Randolph; a daughter, Tracy Randolph Perales of Hertford; a son, James R. "Jimmy" Dailey of Atlanta, GA; and three grandchildren, Nicholas S. Perales of Ocala, FL, Rayce A. Perales and Ayla C. Perales, both of Hertford. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Edenton. A private burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery, Hertford.
