Iris Jeanette Bunch

Iris Jeanette Bunch, 69, of 208 Apache Trail, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Ms. Bunch was born in Chowan County and was the daughter of the late Clyde Elbert and Ruth Copeland Bunch. Retired from United Piece & Dye Works, she was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Elbert Bunch. Surviving are her sons, Martin Duane "Marty" Bunch and Jonathan Brian Bunch and wife Lisa, all of Edenton; four grandchildren, Martin Duane Bunch, Jr., Richard Brian Bunch, Tracy Lynn Merriam and husband Eric, and Chris Mansfield; and daughter-in-law and friend, Bobbie Hobbs of Edenton. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by Dr. James Horton. A private inurnment will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the chapel service.
