Naomi Boyce Bunch, 81, of 219 Riverby Farm Road, Edenton, NC, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 in her home. Mrs. Bunch was born in Chowan County and was the daughter of the late Vannie and Rosa Byrum Boyce. A retired clerk from both Belk's and The Fame Men's Shop, she was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church, its W.M.U., Bereavement Committee, and Senior Adult Choir, and also enjoyed membership in the LOVE Group. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Carlton Bunch; by sisters Roxie Daniels, Gertrude Copeland, Marie Matthews, and Edna Mae Byrum;, and by brothers Wilford, Robert, and David Boyce. Surviving are her daughter, Pam Collins and husband Joe of Shelby, NC; her son, Donald Bunch and wife Janet of Windsor, NC; five grandchildren, Sean Collins and wife Jamie, Erin Collins, Chris Bunch and wife Jennifer, Corey Bunch and wife Mary, and Emily Izquierdo and husband Duvan; and by four great-grandsons, Alex, Ethan, Ben, and Zachary Bunch. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Rocky Hock Baptist Church by Dr. James Horton. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and other times at the residence.
