Lori Ann Schott Garrett

Lori Ann Schott Garrett, 48, of 140 Danielle Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 in Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Garrett was born in Pekin, IL and was the daughter of Donald Gene, Sr. and Frances Ellen York Schott. The Payroll Benefits Coordinator for Kindred Health Care of Elizabeth City, she was the wife of Steven Scot Garrett. Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are a son, Shawn Douglas Midyette and two daughters, Camelia Lynn Garrett and Audrey Jean Garrett, all of Elizabeth City; two sisters, Connie Schott of TN and Jodi Ales of IL; and a brother, Donald G. "Butch" Schott, Jr. of TX. Services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. by Rev. James Harrington in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the funeral home and all other times at the residence.
