Cathy Catron Mizelle

Cathy Catron Mizelle, 53, of 709 Greens Cross Road, Windsor, NC, died Saturday, August 11, 2012 in her home. Mrs. Mizelle was born in Sheffield, AL and was the daughter of Phyllis Cross Taylor of Owensboro, KY and the late Bill Catron. Employed as the Environmental Compliance Coordinator with Perdue Farms, and formerly as a realtor with Triple A and Associates, she was a member of Cashie Baptist Church and its W.M.U., and also worked with the Windsor Volunteer Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 33 years, Milton W. Mizelle; her daughter, Taylor K. Mizelle of Edenton and her fiancé, Levi Lewis; her son, Matthew C. Mizelle of Windsor and his friend Abby Raymond; and her brother, Chris Catron of Raleigh. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in Cashie Baptist Church and will be officiated by Dr. Carroll Tarkington. Friends may join the family in the social hall of the church immediately following services and all other times at the residence. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
