Madeleine Ward "Mandy" FitzSimons, 67, of 209 Tip Toe Road, Edenton, NC, died Saturday, August 11, 2012 in her home. Mrs. FitzSimons was born in Louth, Lincolnshire, England, was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Surviving are her husband, Brian E. FitzSimons; a daughter, Samantha Clare Heathcote; a son, Justin R. "Jack" Heathcote; and Brian's daughter, Anna Margaret FitzSimons. A memorial service will held Thursday, August 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church by The Rev. Thomas Rickenbaker. Burial will follow in the church memorial garden. Friends may join the family in the church parish hall following the services. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
