Maureen Collins Christopher

Maureen Collins Christopher, 69, of 301 Hiland Park Ave., Hertford, NC, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in her home. Mrs. Christopher was born in Swinford, Ireland and was the daughter of the late Terry and Nora McGuire Collins. A homemaker, she had also been employed for many years as a caregiver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Julius C. Christopher, Sr. Surviving are her daughter, Nora P. Morgan of Hertford; three sons, Julius C. Christopher, Jr. and John C. Christopher, both of Houston, TX, and David M. Christopher of Chesapeake, VA; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. At her request, no services will be held.
