Tammy Rigsbee Provost

Tammy Rigsbee Provost, 41, of 115 Pasquotank Station Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. Mrs. Provost was born in Charleston, SC and was the daughter of Charles William, Jr. and Claris Amey Rigsbee of Hot Springs, AR. A loving and adoring wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, she was a faithful member of Pearl Street Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Addison L. Zook. Surviving in addition to her parents is her husband of twelve years, Mark Provost; her two sisters, Tina Henning and husband Jeremiah of Camden and Tonia Lamb and husband Mark of Elizabeth City; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Pearl Street Pentecostal Church. Friends may join the family in the church social hall immediately following services. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to assist the family with medical and other related expenses may be made to the Pearl Street Pentecostal Church, 304 Pearl St., Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
