Daisy Christine Lamb McKeown, 62, of 404 Tuscarora Trail, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Mrs. McKeown was born in Chowan County and was the daughter of the late William Linwood and Mary Alice Copeland Lamb. She was retired from George C. Moore Company in Edenton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Eldrid McKeown; a brother, Delvin E. Lamb; and a granddaughter, Cherish Noelle Clayton. Surviving are her daughter, Tammy M. Clayton and husband Samuel of Edenton; two sisters, Juanita Byrum of Edenton and Darlene L. Casper of Manteo; seven brothers, Hubert L. Lamb of Suffolk, Kenneth N. Lamb of Edenton, Merrill C. Lamb of Hobbsville, James E. Lamb and L. Dean Lamb, both of Edenton, Linwood Lamb of Elizabeth City, and Elisha Lamb of Hertford; and five grandchildren, Tabitha, Samuel, Joshua, Noah, and Heather. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, by the Rev. Russell Blanchard.
