Robert Eric Allison

Robert Eric Allison, 56, of 713 Greenleaf Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in his home. Mr. Allison was born in Grove City, PA and was the son of Burgess Allison of Virginia Beach, VA and the late Joan Schaffer Allison. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Bascaskie Allison, three daughters; Mary F. Dykes and Stephanie J. Allison, both of Elizabeth City and Valerie S. Allison of Grandy; two sisters; Darlene Flynn of San Francisco, CA and Angela Attig of Monok, IL; two brothers, Brian Allison of Virginia Beach and Michael Allison of Olive Branch, MS; and six grandchildren, Destiny and Cody Dykes, Jaelynn Allison, Austin Allen, Alissa Moore and Emma Carlson. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Friends may join the family at the residence. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
