George Robert Poole

George Robert Poole, 79, of 770 Redd Road, Alpharetta, GA, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the home of his daughter in Camden, NC. Mr. Poole was born in Alabama and was the son of the late Buey and Lois Skidmore Poole. Retired from the shipping department of Case IH, he was an Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Irene Poole; a sister, Louise Wilhite; and brothers, Jimmy and Bud Poole. Surviving are his daughters, Reba Nell Hughes of Trebloc, MS, Wynona Gail Mell of Camden, Patricia Ann Hubbard and Deborah Jeannine Fuller, both of Mantachi, MS; step-daughters, Sue Duncan, Vickie Parks, and Darlene Jackson; a step-son, Greg Smith; a sister, Juanita West of Alpharetta; 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Northside Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA. A private burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
