Salome Rodriguez

Salome Rodriguez, 75, of 924 Sandy Ridge Road, Tyner, NC, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico and was the daughter of the late Sergio and Esprazon Rodriguez. A retired seamstress and former resident of both Guayama and Holyoke, Mass., she was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jose A. Vasquez. Surviving are her daughter, Wanda Ramos of Daytona Beach, FL; two sons, Jose Miguel Ramos and wife Lynne of Tyner and Jaime Ramos, Jr. of Springfield, Mass.; a brother, Sergio Rodriguez and wife Rosa of Guayama; and several grandchildren and extended family members. The family will hold a private memorial service. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, assisted them with arrangements.
