Anne Wiley Perry

Anne Rountree Wiley Perry, 76, formerly of US Hwy. 158, died Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. Mrs. Perry was born in Suffolk, VA and was the daughter of the late Manley Edward Rountree, Sr. and Oria Parker Rountree Smith. A retired bookkeeper, she was a member of Somerton United Methodist Church, Suffolk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Phillip Rountree, Holmes Rountree, and Manley E. Rountree, Jr. Surviving are her daughter, Lennette Perry Ventura of Hobbsville; two sons, Jimmy Wiley and wife Sandra of Ahoskie and Jackie Wiley and wife Darlene of Hobbsville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Somerton United Methodist Church by the Rev. Grover C. Branton and Pastor Frank Carter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Saturday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, and other times at the home of her son, Jackie, 348 Hobbsville Road, Hobbsville.
