Lydia Gray Schuyler

Lydia Lorraine Gray Schuyler, 63, of 2826 Rocky Hock Road, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. Mrs. Schuyler was born in Davidson County, NC and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Betty Curtis Gray. She was a retired teacher's assistant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Gray, and by her husband on May 17th of this year, John Melton Schuyler. Surviving are her daughters, Michelle Schuyler Bunch and husband Mark and Amy Schuyler Schwartz and husband Eddie, all of Edenton; a sister, Kim Taylor and husband Rick, and a brother, Steve Gray and wife Janet, all of Lexington; four grandchildren, Taylor Schuyler, Hunter Bunch, Houston Bunch, and Savannah Schwartz; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by the Rev. Ronnie Schuyler. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the chapel service and all other times at the residence.
