Raymond Eugene Kuchenbrod

Raymond Eugene Kuchenbrod, 71, of 688 Bosley Road, Sunbury, NC, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in his home. Mr. Kuchenbrod was born in Cambria County, PA and was the son of the late Richard E. and Alvada Kenner Kuchenbrod. He retired as a mechanic with the Gates County Schools Transportation Department. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Taylor and two brothers, Zane and Harold Kuchenbrod. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Peggy Anne Collins Kuchenbrod; four daughters, Renee Kuchenbrod of Hobbsville, Debbie Phillips of Sunbury, Robin Williams and Rae Anne Williams, both of Merry Hill; two sons, Kevin R. Kuchenbrod and fiancée Stephanie Mills of Hertford and Rusty Freeman of Sunbury; one sister, Yvonne Osman of Pennsylvania; one brother, Robert Kuchenbrod of West Virginia; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, by the Rev. Ronnie Wyatt. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service on Monday, and all other times at the residence.
