Hank Thomas Chappell, 37, formerly of County Line Road, Belvidere, NC, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 in Greenville, NC. Hank was born in Chowan County and was the son of Melvin L. Chappell of Tyner and Betty Thomas Chappell of Edenton. He was employed with Ruby Tuesdays and IHOP, both in Greenville, NC. Surviving in addition to his parents are his children, Mikayla Thompson, Hank Thomas Chappell, Jr., Dylan Chappell, and Hunter Chappell; his fiancé, Staci Thompson of Greenville; sisters, Patricia Byrum and husband Jesse of Edenton and Amanda Stallings and husband Adam of Belvidere; and his brother, Alton Chappell and wife Beth of Hertford. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton. Burial will follow in the Chappell Family Cemetery at the corner of County Line Road and NC Hwy. 37. Friends may join the family Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at the home of Amanda and Adam Stallings, 1225 County Line Road, Belvidere.
