Dana Gilbert Myers

Dana Gilbert Myers, 53, of 112 Bandon Road, Edenton, NC, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Mr. Myers was born in West Virginia and was the son of the late Troy G. and Margie Williams Myers. A mechanic, he was the owner and operator of Auto Pro Collision Repair, and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Hertford. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Lanty Myers. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Kathy Lynn Cecil Myers, a daughter, Marjorie Ann Myers of Edenton; and a sister, Mae McCartney of Buckhannon, WV. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Grove United Methodist Church by Pastors Ray Tavenner and Charlie Ullom. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, handling arrangements.
