Robert William Williford, Jr.

Robert William Williford, Jr., 56, of 20 Smokey Hollow Lane, Gates, NC, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in his home. Mr. Williford was born in Portsmouth, VA and was the son of the late Robert William Williford, Sr. and Betty Lou Smith. He was a Top Pick Machine operator in the construction industry. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Fortney Williford; three daughters, Peggy Brooks and husband Shaun of Hobbsville, Melissa Lungahi and husband Joseph of Daytona, FL, and Crystal Lee and husband Brad of Gatesville; three sons, Glenn Edward Miller, Jr. of Surry, VA, Robert William Williford, III and wife Lacey of Portsmouth, and Robert James Williford of Gates; four sisters, Belinda Bryant, Sharon Ratta, Carron Gamble, and Terri Lynn Swain, all of Chesapeake, VA; and two brothers, Alan Hales of Lincolnton and Anthony Hales of Jarrett, VA. A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the home of Brad and Crystal Lee, 674 NC Hwy 37 South, Gatesville.
