Craig Eldridge McClure

Craig Eldridge McClure, 46, of 362 Sandy Cross Road, Hobbsville, NC, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Auburn, Maine. Mr. McClure was born in South Charleston, WVA and was the son of Eldridge and Loretta Lee Dehainaut McClure of Dunbar, WVA. Retired as a Petty Officer First Class after serving 20 years in the United States Navy, he was currently employed as an aviation mechanic with Global Aircraft Service, and was a member of Hobbsville Baptist Church and the Hobbsville Volunteer Fire Dept. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of nearly 27 years, Trena Lea Copenhaver McClure; three daughters, Christa Lea Bradshaw and husband Jacob of Sunbury, Jessica Mae McClure and Cassandra Faye McClure, both of Sterling, VA; two sisters, Cindy Faye Dawson and Cathy Lee McClure, both of Dunbar, WVA; and his mother-in-law, Mary Ruth Collins of Hobbsville. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Hobbsville Baptist Church by the Rev. Tim Dannelly. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, and all other times at the residence.
