Louise Bryant Mathias

Louise Bryant Mathias, 72, of 1350 NC 32 North, Corapeake, NC, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 in her home. Mrs. Mathias was born in Nansemond County, VA, and was the daughter of the late Marvin and Emily Bryant. She retired from the Suffolk Department of Social Services in 2003 after 32 years of employment. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis P. Mathias, Jr., and by a brother, James L. Bryant. She is survived by her three loving children, Mark, Debbie, and David; by her five grandchildren, Jessica, Charlie, Nick, Courtney, and Aaron; and by three brothers and two sisters. In keeping with her written instructions and requests, a private graveside service at the Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery will be held. This service, and the viewing of her remains, will be limited to her children and grandchildren. Friends may join the family at the residence.
