James Arthur Kelly

James Arthur Kelly, 77, of 338 Woodland Drive, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in his home. Mr. Kelly was born in Hornell, NY and was the son of the late John and Madeline Broderick Kelly. A retired custodian, and former owner of his own cleaning business, he had served our country in the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Kelly; his sisters and his brothers. Surviving are his daughter, Penny Brokaw of the home; a step daughter Michelle Hicks of MD; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a special friend, Dwayne Hicks. The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date. Friends may join the family at the residence. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting with arrangements.
