Laura Lee Flohr Ticknor

Laura Lee Flohr Ticknor, 84, of 102 Hawthorne Road, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. Mrs. Ticknor was born in Washington, DC on October 20, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Dr. Martin C. and Laura Beasley Flohr, and the wife of the late William Ormsby Ticknor. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Surviving are her son, William Litchfield Ticknor and wife Cynthia of Falls Church, VA; her daughter, Susan Beasley Ticknor Westemeyer and husband Norbert, and her grandson, Lucas W. Westemeyer, all of Myhl, Germany. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 6th, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Thomas M. Rickenbaker. Burial will follow in the church's memorial garden. Friends may join the family in the Parish Hall of the church immediately following the burial.
