Donna Hoysradt Cross

Donna Lynn Hoysradt Cross, 55, of 30 Crosstown Road, Gates, NC, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in her home. Mrs. Cross was born in Rhinebeck, NY and was the daughter of the late George Harmon and Anna Elizabeth Miles Hoysradt. A homemaker, she was also a certified nursing assistant and while living in New York had been employed with area nursing homes, hospitals and in home healthcare. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lovie Miles, and her granddaughter, Nataleigh Cross. Surviving are her husband of 15 years, Robert Lee Cross; three daughters, Holli Smith, Debra Brunner and husband Daniel, and Gita Cross; a son, Daniel Gallagher, Sr. and wife Mackinna, all of Gates; three sisters, Debra Gallagher, Dawn Simmons, and Brenda White; three brothers, Wayne Lund, Kevin Hoysradt, and Brucey Miles, all of New York; and nine grandchildren, Sebastion Lee, Haleena Smith, Donald Davis, Jr., Brianna Davis, Savannah Gallagher, Anselmo Smith, Novaleigh Cross, Daniel Gallagher, Jr., and Rayne Gallagher. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, by Pastor Stephen Wall. Burial will follow in Cool Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family in the funeral home during the hour prior to the service on Saturday.
