Ronald Earl Taylor, 60, of 1339 Center Hill Highway, Hertford, NC, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 in his home. Mr. Taylor was born in Pitt County and was the son of the late Mark Wesley and Thelma Gibbs Taylor. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Joyce Owens Taylor; a daughter, Rachel Taylor; six step-children; two sisters, Pat Medlin and Diane Adkins; a brother, Paul Taylor; 19 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. A private service will be held. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
