Andy Eure

Walter Anderson "Andy" Eure, 49, of 323 Harrell's Church Road, Gatesville, NC, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA. Andy was a native of Gates County and was the son of the late Walter A., Sr. and Rita Brinkley Eure. A sales engineer with Electric Motor & Contracting of Chesapeake and Courtland, VA, he was a member and deacon of Eure Christian Church, and a member of Gatesville Masonic Lodge #126, The Alton Turner Gates County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, and Ray's Beach Fishing Club. Surviving are his wife of nearly nine years, Sallie Pierce Eure, and their daughter, five year old Sarah Grace Eure; his brother, Woodie "Bubba" Eure and wife Brenda, and their son Blaine of Holland; his mother-in-law, Lynne Pierce of Vaughan, NC; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In keeping with Andy's love of the morning, a graveside service will be held Monday at 6:00 a.m. in Eure Christian Church Cemetery, and will be officiated by the Rev. Michael Brinkley. Casual attire is acceptable and camouflage is encouraged. Friends may join the family in the social hall immediately following the service, and all other times at the residence. There will be no viewing. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangement.
