Juanita Hendrix Trotman

Juanita Hendrix Trotman, 84, of 189 Sandy Cross Road, Hobbsville, NC, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Mrs. Trotman was born in Gates County, and is the last surviving of 16 children born to Robert "Bob" and Lizzie Riddick Hendrix. A homemaker and farmer's wife, she was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Lee "Trot" Trotman. Surviving are her children, Penny Wiggins and husband G.S., Terri Campbell and husband Robert, and Dennis Trotman and wife Sonya, all of Hobbsville; four grandchildren, Jessica Kaplar and husband Paul, Justin Trotman, and Ethan and Colin Campbell; and two great-grandchildren, MacKenzie and Colton Kaplar. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Terry Jones. Friends may join the family at the residence.
