Mae Elizabeth "Betty" Elsea Hall, 81, of 2911 Leggett Mill Road, Williamston, NC, died Saturday, June 8, 2013. Mrs. Hall was born in Fauquier County, VA, and was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Alice Delight Chappelle Elsea. Retired from Carr Lowery Glass Company, she was a member of both The Order of the Eastern Star and the Rolling Road Archery Club, and had been a state champion archer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard O. Tinsman. Surviving are her daughters, Lynn Christine Sneeringer and Julie Ann Baker, both of Maryland; her sons, Robert Joseph Hall and wife Shirley of Williamston and Michael Edward Hall of Maryland; two sisters, Gloria Loeffler of Maryland and Beverly Ziegenheim of Pennsylvania; a brother, Samuel Tinsman of Baltimore, MD; a sister-in-law, Dora Tinsman of Maryland; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 12 noon in Macedonia Christian Church, 7640 US Hwy 17, Williamston, by the Rev. Greg Sexton. Friends may join the family in the church the hour prior to services. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting with arrangements.
