Kristie Kay Westbrook

Kristie Kay Westbrook, 44, of Fort Mill, SC, and formerly of Edenton, NC, died Sunday, June 16, 2013 in her home. Kristie was raised in Chowan County, NC, and was the daughter of Charlie E. "Chuck" and Dianne Modlin Westbrook. A graduate of John A. Holmes High School in Edenton, and Meredith College in Raleigh, she was a Dedicated Service Engineer with Microsoft Corp. in its Charlotte headquarters. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Letitia W. Chilton and husband Jay of Fayetteville; four nieces, Kayla, Amber, Erica, and Ava Chilton; special friends and caregivers, Cate, Christopher, and Ryan Granger; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by the Rev. Tony Evans. Friends may join the family in the funeral home Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., and all other times at the home of her parents, 506 Robin Lane, Edenton.
