Dellar Rose "Nina" Forehand, 51, of 106A Lea Lumber Company Road, Windsor, NC, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 in Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Mrs. Forehand was born in Bertie County and was the daughter of the late Charlie Jackson and Dorothy Keel Rose. Employed for many years as a waitress with Tarheel Barbeque, she was a member of Windsor Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Radolph Forehand, Jr.; her in-laws, James R., Sr. and Patsy Forehand; and a brother-in-law, Cleve Barrett. Surviving are two sons, James Forehand, III and wife Karen and Cody Forehand and fiancée Keisha Sluder, both of Windsor; an adopted daughter, Kathy Overton of Raleigh; four sisters, Vickie Castello, Monia Rose, Dorothy Lewis, and Connie Rose, all of Windsor; two brothers, Tony and Charlie Rose, both of Windsor; brothers-in-law, Tommy Forehand and wife Debbie of Hobbsville, Randy Forehand and wife Ann of Whaleyville, VA; sister-in-law, Debbie Barrett of Raleigh; five grandchildren, James, Brianna, Jasmine, Logan, and Camryn Forehand; and 19 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Windsor Assembly of God by Pastor Chuck Gray. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is handling arrangements.
