J. Robbie Hendrix

Julian Robbie Hendrix, 63, of Cannon's Ferry Road, Tyner, NC, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Hobbsville, as the result of an automobile accident. Mr. Hendrix was born in Chowan County and was the son of the late Julian Iconuis and Grace Davenport Hendrix. He was a 35 year employee of B.A.E. Systems in Norfolk, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, George Swain. Surviving are his brother, Bruce Hendrix and wife Barbara of Tyner; a half-sister, Frances Eason of Sunbury; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by the Rev. Ron Parr. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at the home of his brother, 414 Cannon's Ferry Road, Tyner.
