Percy Judson Britton

Percy Judson Britton, 54, of 1633 Lane's Landing Road, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, August 15, 2013 in his home. Mr. Britton was born in Chowan County and was the son of the late Alvin Britton and Jane Yount Riddick. Formerly employed with Mid-Way Chevrolet, and Ferrell Gas, he most recently worked as an automobile technician with Top Notch Auto Repair. Surviving are his daughters, Amanda Britton (Jason Forehand) of Tyner and Shannon Britton of Hertford; three sisters, Vicki Lassiter (J.R.) of Corapeake, Denice Bradshaw of Suffolk, VA, and Adrienne Meads of Hertford; a brother, Dane Britton of Edenton; half-sisters, Tina Hicks (Billy), Mary Britton, Lynn Anderson, and Kellie Britton, all of Lanexa, VA and Mindy Woods (Darrell) of Hampton, VA; and a half-brother, Harold Britton of Williamsburg, VA. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by the Rev. Randy Browder.
