Wanda Sue Harrell

Wanda Sue Harrell, 54, of Kernersville, NC, died Thursday, September 5, 2013, as the result of a traffic accident. Wanda was born in Chowan County, NC and was the daughter of Carl Douglas Harrell of Edenton, and the late Margaret Ambrose Harrell. An accountant, she was an avid motorcyclist, and enjoyed many trips with her fellow riding enthusiasts. She had served in the North Carolina National Guard. Surviving, in addition to her father, is her brother, Ralph D. Harrell of Clemmons, NC; a nephew, Robert Harrell; two nieces, Jennifer Harrell and Monica Ward; other extended family members, and many, many friends and co-workers. Friends may join the family on Thursday, September 12th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 141 Smith-Edwards Road, Kernersville, and again on Friday, September 13th, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, NC. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14th, at 1:00 p.m., in the Miller & Van Essendelft Chapel. Burial will follow on the family plot in Cedarwood Cemetery in Hertford.
