Patricia Powers Mersinger

Patricia Powers Mersinger, 86, of 122 Creek Trail, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Vidant Chowan Hospital. Mrs. Mersinger was born in Norfolk, VA and was the daughter of the late Northern Leslie and Lila Dougherty Powers. She was a homemaker and a long-time resident of Virginia Beach before moving to Edenton nearly 25 years ago. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Edward Mersinger, Sr. She will be greatly missed by her family, which include her husband, Donald Albert Mersinger; a daughter, Leslie Randolph of DuBois, PA; two sons, Paul John Mersinger of Edenton and Patrick David Mersinger of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, no service will be held. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
