Bernard Emmanuel Eanes

Bernard Emmanuel Eanes, 71, of 566 Davenport's Lane, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 in his home. Mr. Eanes was born in Petersburg, VA and was the son of the late Joseph Berry and Mary Ellen Walker Eanes. He was a retired draftsman with Carter Steel & Iron, and was an avid fisherman. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Eanes; a daughter, Stella Bernette Eanes Mayton and a son, Bernard Emmanuel "Butch" Eanes, Jr., both of South Chesterfield, VA; a brother, William "Bill" Eanes of Williamsburg, VA; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 13th, at 3:00 p.m. in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 9227 River Road, South Chesterfield, VA.
