Kathryne Fleetwood Barrow

Kathryne Fleetwood Barrow, 96, of 134 Morris Circle, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Mrs. Barrow was born in Perquimans County and was the daughter of the late Julius Maynard and Gertrude Long Fleetwood. A retired secretary, she was a member of Edenton Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Barrow; her sister, Frances Proctor; and by brothers Maynard and Thomas Fleetwood. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Madge B. Fleetwood; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. David Brooks, with Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, handling arrangements. The family will assemble at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. in preparation for the procession to the grave.
