Margaret Twine Miller Elliott

Margaret Twine Miller Elliott, 81, of 1075 US 17 South, Winslow Memorial Home, Elizabeth City, NC, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Elliott was born in Chowan County and was the daughter of the late Leslie E. and Cliffie Boyce Twine. A homemaker, she was a member of Ballard's Bridge Baptist Church, and had also in years past attended Parksville Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, five sisters, and both her husbands, Solomon "Putt" Miller, Jr. and Joseph Elliott. Surviving are her daughter, Sheridan Miller Sanford and husband Jerry of Windsor; four sons, Michael Wayne Miller and wife JoAnn of Dillon, SC, Robert Martin Miller and wife Mary Ann of Charlotte, Jeffery Twine Miller and wife Debbie of Edenton, and Randy Elmer Miller of Tyner; nine grandchildren, Belinda, Julian, Mike, Angel, Scott, Jeff, Ashley, Heather, and Eric; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Ballard's Bridge Baptist Church by the Rev. Ron Parr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and other times at the home of Jeffery and Debbie, 703 Blackfoot Trail, Edenton.
