Kathryn Winant Monat, 70, of Roanoke Trail, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. Ms. Monat was born in Hackensack, NJ and was the daughter of Marion Olsen Winant of Groveland, MA and the late David L. Winant. She was a retired Astrologist. In addition to her mother, surviving are her sister, Christine W. Johnson and husband Paul of Boxford, MA; a niece, two nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and many dear friends and neighbors.
