Frances Hicks Haddock

Frances Hicks Haddock, 77, of 148 Water Lilly Loop, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in Vidant Chowan Hospital. Mrs. Haddock was born in Campbellsville, KY and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jesse Hicks. A homemaker, she had attended Albemarle Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Gill Haddock; a son, Michael Dean Duncan and wife Bonnie of Savannah, GA; Gill's three daughters, Donna Lee Comstock and husband Kenneth of Phoenix, AZ, Debbie Ashen of Owings, MD, and Sandy Gay Wells and husband Donnie of Dunkirk, MD; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be officiated by the Rev. Greg Brinson. Friends may join the family on Saturday in the funeral home the hour prior to services, and all other times at the residence.
