Phillip Stanley West

Phillip Stanley West, 61, of 317 Johnny Harrell Road, Gates, NC, died Saturday, December 7, 2013 in his home. Mr. West was born in Norfolk, VA and was the son of the late Percy Graham, Sr. and Gladys Faye Barnes West. He was a self-employed building contractor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Halsey West. Surviving are his daughter, Concetta Y. Gerson of Columbia, SC; two sons, Phillip S. West and Jeremy F. West, both of Chesapeake, VA; a brother, Percy Graham West, Jr. of Gates; and a granddaughter, Zyana Gerson. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
