Jeannine Forehand Haskett

Jeannine Forehand Haskett, 84, of 208 Manteo Trail, Edenton, NC, died Friday, December 13, 2013 in her home. Mrs. Haskett was born in Ridgeland, SC and was the daughter of the late Thurman P. and Julia Langford Forehand. A graduate of DePaul School of Nursing, she later worked as a registered nurse with DePaul Hospital, St. Mary's Infant Home, and Lake Taylor Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #40. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, James Lee Haskett; two sons, Michael James Haskett and wife Mary Ann of Suffolk, VA and Robert Lee Haskett and wife Susan of Virginia Beach, VA; two daughters, Ruth Ann Harrel and husband Steve of Suffolk and Nini Baker and husband Rand of Norfolk, VA; a sister, Virginia Winslow and husband Robert of Liberty, NC; two brothers, Thurman P. Forehand, Jr. and wife Molly of Hampton, VA and Philip W. Forehand of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In honor of her wishes, no service will be held.
