Melvin Lee Boyce, 68, of 401 Dillards Mill Road, Tyner, NC, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Roanoke Landing Nursing and Rehab Center, Plymouth. Mr. Boyce was born in Chowan County and was preceded in death by his foster mother, Earline Rea. A graveside funeral will be held Wed. at 2:00 p.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Thomas Biggs.
