Dylan Bryne Burton

Dylan Bryne Burton, 21, of 1524 Rocky Hock Landing Road, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, December 22, 2013. Dylan was born in Prince William County, VA and was the son of Bryne Burton of Madison, VA and Dana Georgianna Hayes Johnson of Edenton. A construction worker, he was employed with Harrellsville Metal Works. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dana Hayes. Surviving in addition to his father and mother are his step-father, John Johnson of Edenton; maternal grandmother, Brenda Hayes of Tyner; a sister, Jacqueline Fisher of Hertford; three step-sisters, Lindsay Johnson of Vanceboro, Tarryn Johnson of Edenton, and Savannah Johnson of Buxton; and two step-brothers, Tanner Johnson of Elizabeth City and Jesse Johnson of South Mills. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by Pastor Danny Gurganus. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home, and other times at the residence.
