Maxine Bradshaw Bunch

Maxine Bradshaw Bunch, 88, formerly of Rocky Hock Road, Edenton, NC, died Friday, January 31, 2014 in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Edenton. Mrs. Bunch was born in Lunenburg County, VA on May 23, 1925, and was the daughter of the late William Jesse and Lelia English Bradshaw. A retired grader with Seabrook Blanching Corporation, she was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both her husbands, Raymond Thomas Fowler and Louis Edward Bunch; her sisters, Hazel Christine Rose, Marian Inez Pritchard, and Mary Bryant; and by her brothers, Willard Joseph Bradshaw and William Harold Bradshaw, Sr. Surviving are her step-children, Martha Dean Peck of Wilmington, NC, Ronald Owen Fowler of Yorktown, VA, and Bobby Hearne Fowler of The Villages, FL; her sister-in-law, Louise Bradshaw of Suffolk, VA; six step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by Pastor Tracy Smith. A private burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the chapel service.
