Pauline White Webb, 89, formerly of New Hope Road, Hertford, NC, died Monday, February 3, 2014 in W.R. Winslow Memorial Home, Elizabeth City. Mrs. Webb was born in Perquimans County and was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Annie Russell White. The retired co-owner and operator of Tuck's Barbeque, she was a lifetime member of Berea Church of Christ where she had served as the church pianist for 60 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy H. "Tuck" Webb, a son, Coleman W. Webb, and two sisters, Eula White Small and Eunice White Dunstan McKnight. Surviving are her son, Reginald T. Webb and wife Nancy of Edenton; three grandsons, Tommy Tilley, Jr., Todd Tilley and Joseph Guy Webb; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Berea Church of Christ by Ministers Dr. I. Kimble "Sonny" Furrow and Phil Sutton. A private burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, and other times at the home of her son, 403 Robin Lane, Edenton.
