Patricia Wiley Stallings

Patricia Ann Wiley Stallings, 70, of 1137 Sandy Cross Road, Belvidere, NC, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. Mrs. Stallings was born in Decatur County, GA and was the daughter of the late William Joseph Wiley and Ruby Faye Lane Johnson. Employed for many years with I.X.L. Furniture Company, she had also worked with Food Lion, Albemarle Home Health and did catering and cake decorating. She also reveled in raising and caring for domesticated and farm animals, and thoroughly enjoyed crafting jewelry and making quilts for each one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Louis Richard Stallings, Jr. and a grandson, J.R. Surviving are her two daughters, Diane S. White and husband R.P. and Brenda S. Winslow and husband John; a son, Ricky Stallings and wife Denise, all of Belvidere; a brother, Joseph Claxton Wiley and wife Dorothy of Edison, GA; six grandchildren, Matt and wife Tuesday, LeAnn and husband Brian, Jessica and husband Aaron, Hayden, Amber, and Rusty; five great-grandchildren, Lil Dave, Marissa, Kayne, Lilly, and Ava; a very dear friend, Faye Stallings; and her "boys", canine companions, Tilda and Taffy. Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Up River Cemetery by the Revs. James Spaugh and Vickie Woolard. Friends may join the family at Diane and R.P.'s home, 788 Sandy Cross Road, Belvidere.
