Janet Sass Jillson

Janet Louise Sass Jillson, 62, of 9 Jillson Street, Gates, NC, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA. Mrs. Jillson was born in Laramie County, WY and was the daughter of the late Charles William and Helene Mary Feis Sass. A homemaker, she was a member of Faith Outreach Community Church. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Donald Henry Jillson, Jr.; two sons, Donald H. Jillson, III. and wife Dawn of Gates and Patrick Adam Jillson and wife Christy of Winchester, VA; a sister, Martha Davidson; three brothers, Karl, Robert and Raymond Sass; seven grandchildren, Harper Thornton, Cannon Ferguson, and Kimberly, D.J., Kayla, Kathleen, and Xavier Jillson; and a great-grandson, Jayden Wilson. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. in Faith Outreach Community Church by Pastors Bob Deacon and Kyle Truman. Friends may join the family at the residence. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
