Janice Wilson Ianaro

Janice Marie Wilson Ianaro, 68, of 181 East Camp Perry Road, Hertford, NC, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family. Janice was born in Clearfield, PA and was the daughter of the late Gerard Barry, Sr. and Mabel Lucy Waroquier Wilson. Retired from College of the Albemarle, Janice enjoyed spending time with family, was an avid gardener, enjoyed going to the beach, quilting and reading. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, John Michael Ianaro, Jr.; three daughters, Jennifer M. Gardiner and husband Kevin of Chesapeake, VA, Jenise I. Jones and husband Daniel of King William, VA, and Jodi I. Smith and husband Shane of Canon City, CO; a sister, Susan W. Edelman and husband James of Milton, VT; a brother, Gerard B. Wilson, Jr. and wife Mary of Marshfield, MA; two grandsons, Zachary and Jacob Jones; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service, and other times at the residence. Another service in celebration of Janice's life will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in West Side United Methodist Church, 317 Nichols St. Clearfield, PA.
