Faye Draffin Noneman

Faye Draffin Noneman, 76, of 914 West Queen Street, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation. Mrs. Noneman was born in Warren County on May 14, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Frank Douglas, Sr. and Martha Orilla Pope Draffin. A retired receptionist with Drs. Baker, Francis, and Boehling, she later worked part-time with the Northeast Partnership, was a member of Edenton United Methodist Church, and an honorary member of the Chowan-Edenton Optimist Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Louis Noneman, Jr., and by sons, Walter Douglas Noneman and Robert Charles Noneman. Surviving are her son, Mark L. Noneman of Edenton; her sister, Linda Draffin Hicks of Charlotte; and two brothers, Frank Douglas Draffin, Jr. of Lake Gaston and Charles Ernest Draffin of Roper. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Bernie Hurdle. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at the residence.
