Wager Frederick Clunis, Jr.

Wager Frederick Clunis, Jr., 81, of 83 Perkins Road, Gatesville, NC, died Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Currituck House, Moyock. Mr. Clunis was born in Huron County, MI and was the son of the late Wager Frederick, Sr. and Martha Alice Seddon Clunis. He was a retired machinist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Lelacheur Clunis; a son, William Clunis; and two sisters, Lavina and Elanor. Surviving are his daughter, Deborah Jones of Gatesville; three sons, Dennis, Joseph, and Robert Clunis, all of Simi Valley, CA; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
